GROWING STRONG

House Tyrell of Highgarden is the ruling house of the Reach. Their sigil is a golden rose on green and their words are “Growing Strong“. They hold the position of Lords Paramount of the Reach, and Wardens of the South. the House was led by Lord Mace Tyrell. Mace had a son, Loras Tyrell, who was secret lovers with Renly Baratheon, as well as a daughter Margaery, who married Renly when he crowned himself king in the War of the Five Kings, to form an alliance with Mace. Renly died, so Margaery then married Joffry Baratheon, however he got massacred as well. She then married his younger brother, Tommen Baratheon.

Margaery, Loras, and Mace were all killed by wildfire at the destruction of the Great Sept of Baelor, which led Olenna Tyrell, Mace’s mother, to seized the House’s lordship. Cersei had organized the downfall of Tyrell, therefore the House realigned itself with Targaryen and declared for Daenerys in opposition against Cersei. The House had become extinct with the death of Olenna.
